Lorraine: Memories

Thank you to everyone who has left comments here over the last few weeks. Lorraine's family and I have been very moved by them and wish everyone happiness in following a hobby and lifestyle that certainly made Lorraine happy.

If you would like to know a little more about Lorraine, I have prepared something for her Celebration of Life to be held on the 23rd April.

  1. What a lovely look at Lorraine's life. I remember when she posted that lovely mauve outfit on her blog. It looks so lovely on her. I also loved that she made so many jackets like that one from the same pattern-and every single one suited her beautifully. I know how much you must miss her because even though I never met her I've been missing her like crazy. Thank you for sharing Lorraine with the rest of us.

  6. I've been out of the sewing world loop and just learned of the news today. First, Paul thank you so much for taking the time to communicate with all of Lorraine's many fans. I am so very sorry for your loss; Lorraine was delightful through a computer screen and I can only imagine how all of that charm, style, with, and smarts came across in person :)

I've sewn for 40 years and remain in awe of Lorraine's skills. Even more, I aspire to her clarity of teaching, her willingness to share, her ability to rise above the sometimes unkind world of internet communication and always remain cheerful and gracious.

I would also dearly love to match her productivity! Thank you again and I am holding you and your family in my heart.
